- Recorded live in Tokyo in July of 1974 and never released outside of Japan until well into the 21st century. All sounds heard on this recording are made by Herbie Hancock on the keys. Maiden Voyage and Dolphin Dance are performed on the piano, Nobu and Cantaloupe Island were performed on various electric keyboards and synthesizers. This album was never sold outside of Japan until 2013, and has been out of print on vinyl since 1981. This is the first domestic vinyl edition of this album.Â
