Final studio album from Australia s Dead Can Dance. Spiritchaser was originally recorded in 1996 and was the band s last album before Brendan Perry and Lisa Gerrard went their separate ways. The duo employs the world music elements they d become known for while working with collaborators that had appeared on previous albums. You can sense that they wanted to stretch out a bit more with this release, the duo s personal and creative tensions bubbling just beneath the surface. Eight tracks in all. Released by 4AD on double vinyl housed in a full color sleeve with printed inner sleeves.
