Erectus Rework is Pépé s (don t call him Pepe The Frog!) now-classic house take on Do Your Duty, while Reconstruction A Rebrousse Temps is a more subtle edit of Evidence, flexing his hip-hop roots. The bizarre and disorienting Sweet Interludes, though, are the ones that are still stunning us in 2018; executed in Pépé s bleeps n splurts stylie that s been his go-to in the years following Deep Burnt, sounding like a dubplate transmitted from some alien disco warship. 2018 repress in Honest Jon s disco sleeve, recommended.
