Chasman: Synth-E-Fuge Vinyl LP For Cheap

Jam on to a sound more sophisticated.  Another welcome deep dive from Numero, this time into a universe of outsider synth funk from University City s Chasman. If the name looks familiar, chances are you picked up Numero s excellent Escape From Synth City compilation, on which Chasman s Windfall  was the opening cut. The track is the perfect introduction to that world of lo-fi synthesizer funk beats, but with the reissue of the entire Synth-E-Fuge album, we get to see the whole picture. Here Charles Grossman (aka Chasman) explores deviant strains of electro, boogie, and funk, armed with nothing but his trusty Korg DW-8000 synth. An impressive feat to say the least, with a variety of instrumentals and vocal tracks to keep you grooving in the cut. 8 tracks of 89 private press gold faithfully reissed with repro pic sleeve.
