Travis Levrier and Chris Letchford formed Scale The Summit in 2004, and The Migration is the group s 4th album, originally released in 2013. This is the first project to feature Mark Michell on bass, and Pat Skeffington handles the rhythm section. Instrumental music could be a tough sell, but with Scale The Summit, listeners hardly even notice the absence of a vocalist. Levrier and Letchford trade off lead guitar duties and get extremely expressive, and the band as a whole is able to create a very technical, progressive metal journey.
