Brian Bennett: Voyage (A Journey Into Discoid Funk) Vinyl LP For Sale

Highly sough-after cosmic disco repressed! Brian Bennett s 1978 space disco opus Voyage is the stuff of digger legend, and as such, has been the subject of some pretty bad bootlegs in recent years. Thankfully Australia s Isle Of Jura label has come to the rescue with a proper and official reissue of this funky gem (complete with lovingly reproduced cover art featuring that bad-ass space ship). Bennett built a name for himself as drummer for the Shadows and was known for his music library work around this time. The stars aligned on Voyage however, as it contains a pontent mix of driving synth disco joints ( Voyage and Pendulum Force ) as well as cosmic chillers ( Solstice and Ocean Glide ). Solid work through and through. Recommended.
