6th album from synth pop shoegaze mastermind, Teen Daze. Morning World is like nothing you ve heard from TD yet and somehow it is very much TD. While we ve come to love the mostly ambient, often glacial sounding pop of albums past, this is an entirely new step for the British Columbian… a very welcome step. Rewind a few years ago and recall the transition from Toro Y Moi s debut to his second album and you re getting close. Recorded and mixed with producer John Vanderslice, there is a huge indie influence that recalls parts of American Analog, Sparklehorse, and Neutral Milk Hotel. Simply put, it is a beautiful album that sounds exactly what you would want to wake up and go to sleep to in your little cabana by the ocean. Pressed on very limited (500 copies), hand numbered clear blue vinyl.
