This dichotomy comes through on this nuanced beats album, full of texture, unusual harmonies, and constant shifts. You ll continually discover new favorite parts. At this exact moment, Light #1 is quickly becoming my shit. What s extra impressive is that after several years in his home studio surrounded by the burgeoning LA beats scene, Nosaj has come up with something free from over-influence… it s markedly his own. But this is a review, and I need to draw you in with some comparisons, so I ll say something like Prefuse – Ratatat – Flylo… that sounds good.
