Grimes full length debut from 2010 finally reissued! While not as ubiquitous as her breakout sophomore effort Visions, the often underrated Geidi Primes found Claire Boucher stepping out with a dreamy, eccentric sound that would become her signature. Compared to the aforementioned Visions, the production seems less refined and in her own words, more naive, but it just adds to the free and magical vibe of the music. Includes the tracks Caladan, Rosa, Zoal Face Dancer, Avi, Venus in Fleurs, and more. Bonus for the sci-fi nerdus, the title and many of the track names are in reference to Frank Hibert s Dune, Claire s favorite book. 2016 reissue on Arbutus with digital download included.
