This highly regarded 2011 LP was recorded on a cheap laptop when Will Toledo (aka Car Seat Headrest) was 19, and it was, as Brian Eno fondly put, the sound of failure : thrilling, extraordinary, and singularly compelling failure. Despite Eno s commentary, the album would be downloaded over 33k times and has lead to Car Seat Headrest forming something of a cult following.
